罗伯托·维多维奇是一位建筑师、研究员、教育家和企业家。他是萨格勒布微观装配实验室的联合创始人兼主席，也是多个欧洲项目的国家协调员。他拥有萨格勒布大学建筑学硕士学位和计算机可视化理学硕士学位。罗伯托主讲多门课程，包括“计算机辅助设计入门”、“计算机辅助建筑设计”、“建筑信息建模”和“3D建模与可视化”等课程。自1995年以来，他的设计实践包括私营和公共部门的翻新和新建项目以及文化遗产的传承。他是克罗地亚微观装配实验室的创始人之一，这是东南欧地区最早的微观装配实验室之一。他是欧盟和一些国家资助项目的研究员和/或项目负责人，也是由克罗地亚科学基金会资助的科学研究项目的团队成员。自1987年以来，罗伯托一直是建筑领域数字技术研究和实践的先驱，其研究重点从90年代初的计算机辅助建筑设计，逐步发展到2000年左右的建筑信息模型，再到2010年的计算机可视化研究，以及自2010年以来对建筑乃至整个社会产生影响的数字制造等内容。自2018年起，他担任“STEAM周”这一项目的负责人，自2019年起担任“萨格勒布创客嘉年华”的制作人。他因2019年的出色工作而获得了克罗地亚年度国家奖“福斯特·弗拉尼茨奖”，以表彰他在克罗地亚普及科学技术的贡献。最近，他担任欧洲社会基金资助的“科学连接人类”项目的主要科学研究员，以及“地平线2020”、“Centrinno”等项目的试点协调员。2020年，他成为萨格勒布大学建筑学院研究、开发与创新部门负责人。

Roberto Vdovic is an architect, researcher, educator, and entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and president of FabLab Zagreb and a national coordinator for several European projects. He holds a Master of Architecture and a Master of Science in computer visualization from the University of Zagreb. Roberto lectures on several courses, including "Introduction to Computer Aided Design," "Computer Aided Architectural Design," "Building Information Modeling," and "3D modeling and visualization." His design practice, since 1995, includes renovations and new building projects in the private and public sector, including cultural heritage. He is one of the founders of FabLab Croatia, one of the first in the SEE. He is a researcher and/or project leader on some EU and national funded projects and a team member on scientific research projects financed by Croatian science foundation. Roberto is a pioneer of digital technology research and implementation in the field of architecture since 1987, with specific focuses evolved from CAAD in early ‘90, to BIM around 2000, computer visualisation in ‘10, and digital fabrication with all impact to architecture but also the whole society since 2010. He is project leader of STEAM week since 2018 and featured Maker Faire Zagreb producer since 2019. For his work in 2019, he received the annual state award Faust Vrancic for popularizing technical science in Croatia. Recently, he is principal science researcher on the Science Connecting People (SCOPE) project funded by European Social Fund, and Pilot coordinator for Horizon 2020, Centrinno project, and some other projects. In 2020, he became the Head of the Research, Development and Innovation Department at the Faculty of Architecture University of Zagreb.
